SIPI: 30 years of innovation in stainless steel made in Italy.
Founded in Parma in 1992, SIPI was born as a concrete response to a clear vision: to produce stainless steel flat bars sheared from sheet metal with superior quality standards, putting people at the center of every process. In an ever-changing market, SIPI has been able to build a solid reputation, establishing itself in more than 40 countries through a combination of cutting-edge technology and craftsmanship culture.
The company’s history is intertwined with that of those who founded it and those who make it grow every day. After the first brick was laid in 1992, within a year SIPI installed its first shear and profiling machine. In 2000 it doubled its production capacity with a second shear and a second profiling machine, and in 2004 it acquired a band saw, a key tool for expanding the range of processing. The continuous evolution of the infrastructure leads to the replacement of the second shear in 2013 and, six years later, the insertion of the third profiler. The year 2022 marks an important turning point: the inauguration of the new factory with more than 7,200 m² covered, a symbol of the growth achieved and the desire to always look ahead.
Current production capacity is based on a state-of-the-art machine park-with two shears, three profiles, and a band saw-that enables the processing of sizes from 10×3 mm to 500×100 mm, in lengths from 3 to 6 meters. Small batch production and the use of special grades (316Ti, 321, 309S, 310S and ferritic grades) are also a distinctive feature.
But beyond the numbers and machines, what makes SIPI unique is the human capital. Most of the employees have been there since the company’s early days: they are experienced, trained and deeply connected to the company’s reality. Continuous training, combined with a passion for their work, enables them to guarantee the highest quality standards. Each bar is checked individually so that it keeps its mechanical properties intact and ensures excellent workability, even in complex processes such as rib calendering with thicknesses up to 20 mm.
This care is also reflected in the final stages: packaging, carried out with galvanized straps, wooden supports and recyclable film, is designed to protect each product and meet sustainability criteria.
Today SIPI is synonymous with reliability, flexibility and vision. A reality where technology and manual knowledge coexist harmoniously. Where every steel bar tells a story of precision, commitment and respect for work. And where, for over thirty years, dreams have been transformed into lasting goals.
